Pressed but not Crushed

In every desert of calamities, God has an oasis of comfort. Among thousands marked for death during the genocide, I was protected by an unseen hand of mercy. From the nails of death, I was delivered. From the pit of despair, I was lifted out. “As the shepherd snatches from the mouth of the lion two legs or a piece of an ear, so shall the children of Israel be rescued.” (Amos 3:12) I was taken out of the hunter’s snare not by my strength, not by my wisdom, but by divine grace.
